15 mins prepServes 2
Learn to make a delicious homemade Caesar salad dressing free from inflammatory seed oils, then build a satisfying salad bowl with fresh romaine, croutons, and your protein of choice. This meal is described as a 10/10 and husband approved!
FOR THE DRESSING: Blend 1 cup olive oil, 2 egg yolks, 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp minced garlic, juice of 1 lemon, a splash of apple cider vinegar, 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp mustard, salt & pepper, and 3-5 anchovies. Add water slowly to build consistency until desired.
THEN BUILD YOUR BOWL WITH: chopped washed romaine lettuce, croutons (the original recipe used GF ones), your protein of choice (such as 3 grilled chicken breast tenders per bowl for 30g protein), the homemade dressing, and topped with extra grated Parmesan cheese.
